Posted by PJ in In my short lifetime I have come across many things that have inspired me. One thing has always remained consistent I could have never come across these inspiring things, people etc if I had not decided to open my mind and see the world from a different eye. Traveling to different places and seeing different things sparks the brain and presents new opportunities. Many say that they can not afford to travel, please understand when I say travel it does not have to alway mean to a new location. When I say travel I mean pickup a book, talk to a stranger, order something new at your favorite restaurant, pickup a foreign language, do something that scares the hell out of you once in a while. All of these things make the mind travel. And of course if you can hit the road that makes it even sweeter to be able to blend into other cultures.
We travel because we need to, because distance and difference are the secret tonic of creativity. When we get home, home is still the same. BUT something in our mind has been changed, and that changes everything!
Just a little something to help the mind TRAVEL!!!
